Garden design - Contemporary rural garden, Ebford

The large garden surrounding this modern family home was designed to anchor the house in a difficult sloping site, and make better use of the space whilst at the same time making this an easily maintained garden area.

A generous level terrace was created beyond the new extension, cutting across the slope to provide a large sunny space for outside entertaining. The directional line of the terrace encourages you to explore the wider garden, with its naturalistic planting, play spaces and additional seating areas .
